Description

While portable imaging diagnostics are not new in 2022, there has been an increase in their utilization for patients who choose to receive their health care, wherever they call home. This session will provide a general overview of the types of imaging exams able to be performed safely in a patient's home, with updates on the newest equipment and technologies being used in 2022. Real use-case studies will be reviewed and tied to how such diagnostic services may positively impact clinical care coordination, clinical outcomes, quality measures, and patient satisfaction. Learn how incorporating such a partnership can prevent an avoidable acute transfer or a hospital readmission, while reducing overall health care costs.
